Why We Made a Brand for People Who Overthink Everything

I didn’t set out to build a brand around overthinking. I set out to build something that didn’t exist yet, clothes that didn’t ask people to be different than they already are.

Most of what’s out there falls into two categories. There’s the loud stuff: hustle slogans, “grind now, rest later,” motivational quotes stitched onto hoodies like productivity is a personality. And then there’s the clinical stuff, mental health merch that turns a very normal human experience into something that needs fixing. One shouts at you, the other diagnoses you. Neither one felt like something I’d actually want to wear.

Why None of This Needs Fixing

Neither of those felt honest. Overthinking isn’t a flaw to overcome. It’s not a diagnosis. It’s just what happens when your brain cares about getting things right. Replaying a conversation three times isn’t broken behavior, it’s just Tuesday for a lot of us. I’ve done the thing where you write a text, delete it, rewrite it, and still don’t send it for another hour. That’s not a disorder. That’s just how some of us are built.

Same with low energy. Somewhere along the way, “I don’t have the energy for that today” started needing a justification. An excuse. A doctor’s note, almost. We didn’t think it needed one. Some days you have less to give. That’s not a problem to solve, it’s just a day. You’re allowed to have those without narrating why to anyone.

And being socially selective, showing up for the people and moments that actually matter, and skipping the rest without guilt, that’s not antisocial. That’s just knowing your own capacity. I used to think I had to have a reason ready for every “no.” Turns out most people don’t need one. The ones who do probably weren’t going to understand it anyway.

How the Three Collections Came Together

So the idea behind this brand was simple: make things for people who think a lot, feel a lot, and don’t always have a lot of energy left over without treating any of that like something to fix.

That’s where the three initial collections came from, honestly. Overthinkers was first, because it’s the one I know best, the mind that won’t stop rerunning the same five minutes of a conversation looking for the moment it went sideways. Low Energy came next, for the days that don’t need an explanation. Socially Selective came last, and it’s probably the one I underestimated, turns out a lot of people needed a soft way to say “I like you, I’m just not coming tonight” without it turning into a whole conversation.

Made to Order, On Purpose

No fake urgency. No “you NEED this” energy. No pretending a hoodie will change your life. Just clothes that quietly get it, the kind of thing you put on when you want to feel like yourself, not a better version of yourself. I’m not trying to sell you a personality upgrade. I’m trying to make the thing I wish existed when I needed it.

I make everything print to order, which sounds like a small detail but it isn’t, it means nothing gets made until someone actually wants it. No warehouse full of “maybe someone will buy this.” Just the design, and then you, deciding it’s yours.

If any of this sounds familiar, the replaying, the “still deciding,” the “not fully in it” days, you’re probably going to feel at home here. You don’t have to explain yourself. That’s kind of the whole point.

We made this for you. Or honestly, we made this because of people like you. Including me.
